An eye for the human condition of being vulnerable
Insightful. Thoughtful. Chilling.
Ruth Rendell's 'Harm Done.' The characters are believable and the storyline easy to grasp and yet captivates and entertains. The observations of human emotions and especially power imbalances are insightful. Unashamedly goodreads without any pretentious flummery.
Sad but thought provoking.
This book started my now almost complete Margaret Yorke collection.
