Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I have finished listening to this today... I have loved it so much and wasn't till I finished did I realise Lauren Rowe narrated it.!!!! Oh my Buttercup it is a must read or better still listen to it
What made the experience of listening to Countdown to Killing Kurtis the most enjoyable?
The narrator was hilarious! I read this in ebook format first, and laughed til I cried, but the audio is ten times better!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Buttercup, because she is so 'matter-of-fact' throughout the whole story, that she's going to kill her husband. Her euphemisms are downright hilarious!
Have you listened to any of Lauren Rowe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, I listened to the first book of the Club series. that was a dual-narration, and really good, too. Countdown is still my favorite, though.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but unfortunately life got in the way.
Any additional comments?
If you haven't read or listened to this book, do so immediately!

What did you love best about Countdown to Killing Kurtis?
I loved the whole story. It kept me on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole time. The caracters were very exciting and entertaining. The story line never trailed I loved all the Southern cliches and banter. I was continually surprised by the turns throughout the whole book. Just when you thought you knew what was next you so didin't. And what you thought about certain caracters didn't always hold true and sometimes they surprised you. I laughed, cried, or was thoroughly shocked through the whole book. There wasn't an emotoinless part in the whole book and I think I went through them all. So pyscological? Definitely! Thriller? Most Definitely!!
What did you like best about this story?
I like that I was always surprised by what happened in each chapter. I was surprised that I actually cried in parts of the book.
Which scene was your favorite?
To say I had a favorite scene would be a lie. Because the whole book was my favorite scene.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were a few moments that really got to me throughout the whole book. Some made me laugh, sometimes hysterically. There were a couple that touched my heart and made me cry. And yes a couple that made me mad for certain characters or with certain ones. I won't be telling which because that would spoil it for other readers, NO SPOILERS HERE!!!
Any additional comments?
I think this book is in a class all by itself. I have never read anything like it. I would and have called it an "Adult Erotic Pyscological Thriller".
