Probably better abridged !

Although the plot was well constructed the story could have been told in around half the pages. This was the first book that I have purchased that I almost gave up on !

Where's Dalziel??

I love Reginald Hill's humour, particularly when he is doing the dialogue for Dalziel. The problem is Dalziel seems to appear less and less these days, great shame, he's the best bit

Not a bad listen, but Pascoe can be a bit of a self absorbed drip. He does get very obsessed and side tracked... I think he should be swapping places the gay motor biking sergeant who is far more interesting, and better at the job.

One the hole it wasn't a bad yarn
