Publisher's Summary

Beautiful Caroline Crale was convicted of poisoning her husband, yet there were five other suspects: Philip Blake (the stockbroker) who went to market; Meredith Blake (the amateur herbalist) who stayed at home; Elsa Greer (the three-time divorcee) who had roast beef; Cecilia Williams (the devoted governess) who had none; and Angela Warren (the disfigured sister) who cried ‘wee wee wee’ all the way home. No statute of limitations with Poirot

Poirot investigates a murder 16 years in the past. Five little piggies = 5 witnesses/suspects, 5 perspectives, and the daughter of the murdered man and his wife who was convicted of the crime, who wants to know the truth before she agrees to marry.
Without any official status, HP succeeds in obtaining the testimonies of those 5 and finds out what actually happened.
HF narrates well, as usual.
