And in Adam Tallis, a rugged mountaineer with a murky past, she finds a man who can teach her things about herself that she never even suspected. So bad, I stopped after 3 hours

This book must be aimed at intellectually-deprived teenagers or empty-headed romantics with no grasp on reality. Everyone likes escapism, but this was just rot.

Worst book I've had in a long time.

Not my style book

I had to return this book. I've read most of Nicci French's books and enjoyed them, however this one went down a route that was far too close and personal for my liking and I wasn't able to listen to it. I'm sure Nicci's fans will enjoy it and the narrator is good but I couldn't. Sorry Nicci
