Summary

Deena King is a tough, moral barrister who has made a highly succesful career of putting criminals behind bars. Al Virtue is a villain. Only once has he been called to pay for his crimes and Deena King was the prosecuting QC. But now they must form an unlikely alliance, for Deena's son and Al's daughter have vanished from college. As the trail leads from the London underworld to the headquarters of a Colombian drug cartel, it soon becomes apparent that for the forces of law and order, the safe return of the young students is not a priority and Al and Deena are unwitting pawns in a deadly game.

My Favourite Listen

I first bought a paper back version of this book and was enthralled from beginning to end. I subsequently bought the Audible version and this is where my paper back version came to life. I loved every word. It is just super. The narrator, Raymond Sawyer, did the most fantastic job. I have listened to this book several times. I loved it!
