even if I was hooked for the first half of the book, the female narrator tries too hard, and the story turns too good to be true, it's a shame. Could've been a great book. Or maybe I should have read it instead...
The idea behind this story is interesting- the story is fast paced and bizarre. There are some significant glaring medical errors- which could have easily been researched- and the story probably could've ended 4 hours early and been better.

The main character of this book is intriguing, complex, and an overall joy to read about. Sherlock Holmes meets MacGyver, but as a teenage girl. I would say that if you aren't a fan of detail, this may be a bit off-putting. But the fluid nature of the story leaves you anxious to continue at each stop.
The narrator does a tremendous job capturing the main character, however leaves a bit to be desired on the male characters. It's not a problem, and not a reason to remove a star. Just a critique.
