Summary

An unidentified woman’s body is found in a remote garden in Kent. With the owners not in residence, the only people with legitimate access are the caretaker, Johnny, and landscape gardeners Adam Sarjeant and his employer, Mog. Afraid of her son falling under suspicion, Libby Sarjeant, with her friend Fran, are determined to find the murderer, with or without the assistance of the police in the person of Chief Detective Inspector Ian Connell.

Murder

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Rather disappointing

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I feel that sometimes the story is just too Famous Five

Did Patience Tomlinson do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

The reading was good but I wish the male voices were read by men

Could you see Murder in the Dark being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

is there a treasure hidden in dark house and was it's value enough to kill for?
another really good story from Lesley cookman and narrated by patience Tomlinson.
is Edward going to be another character to add to the list of "libby's loonies"?
bought the next book in the series to find out.
