Holmes fans you will love this
There are three amazing stories in this book. I cannot lie, and do not exaggerate when I say that M. Pepper Langlinais seems to have channeled the spirit of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The style, the prose, the mystery, and the portrayal of Watson and Holmes is os spot on I would have believed it if someone had told me these were "lost Stories" only recently discovered in Doyle's estate.
Ashe kills it with his narration. He embodies John Watson vocally that you almost feel like he is standing behind you telling his tales. Truly, a stunning piece of verbal olympics.
These stories are absolutely gold, and I am 100% a true Holmesian when I say that. I have read many modern interpretations, but M. Pepper Langlinais nails the mood, atmosphere, and even dialect of the period precisely.
I cannot wait for more.

If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes, you'll love these 3 clever short stories. They are definitely written in the same style as the originals by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The author, M. Pepper Langlinais, is quite obviously a fan of the originals. These we're almost as good as Doyle's work. The author uses the correct time periods and correct language of the period. The narrator, Jared Ashe, certainly narrated the stories perfectly. The only constructive criticism I can offer is to the narrator. The sound quality almost sounds like the echo of a bathroom. A little soundproofing goes a long way.
