Summary

Disappointing plot, tiring narration

After finishing the excellent Couleurs de l'incendie, I wanted to read another Pierre Lemaitre nouvel but found the plot difficult to get into and the ending a little too facile. Both the male and female narrators pronunciations were exaggerated pronouncing all the "silent" e's in French in a way that felt unnatural. moreover, the male narrator repeated himself a couple of times reminding me he was reading, the first time I had encountered that in an Audible book.
