Summary
Jack Nightingale fights his battles in the shadows - in the grey areas where the real world meets the supernatural. But when he arrives in San Francisco to take on a group of Satanists bent on opening a doorway to hell, the danger is out in the open and all too real.

I love this series
As I say in my headline I absolutely love this series. This story lacks none of the humour and good plain old story telling of the other 4 books. I just cannot rate Jack Nightingale stories high enough, and as I have put on all my other reviews Paul Thornley's narration just puts the cherry on the cake. Love it Love it Love it

Jack Nightingale is a great character
Any additional comments?
Personally I like anything Paul Thornley narratres. I dont even care if every baddie sounds the same in every novel, or that its hard to pick which hero from which author you are listening to, Spider Sheppard, Nick Stone or Jack Nightingale, the books all romp all along and a jolly good listen. If you enjoy a bit of black magic and naughty satanists then these books make a fun change. San Francisco was a pleasant scenic change.
