Publisher's Summary

He was dragged from the sea, his body riddled with bullets. There are a few clues: a frame of microfilm surgically implanted beneath the skin of his hip; evidence that plastic surgery has altered his face; strange things he says in his delirium, which could be code words. An awful mess of a story

Not what I expected at all. No depth. No ingenuity. Obvious twists. Too many characters, undeveloped. Annoying narration with faux-French and German accents used in an off-putting way. Was going to listen to the rest of the series but I won't waste my time on them after this.
