Publisher's Summary

Viggo Hansen was a man nobody ever noticed, even though he lived in the midst of a close-knit community. His death doesn't hit the headlines, but there is something about the case that catches the attention of William Wisting's journalist daughter, Line, and she decides to write a newspaper article with a different twist for the festive season: the portrait of a completely anonymous and obscure person whose death goes unremarked and unmourned.

What the Critics Say

"Horst’s beautifully paced and compelling narrative ensnares the reader as it unveils the darkest side of human nature." (Caro Ramsey)
"The Caveman is not just an intriguing, fast-paced thriller, but a thoughtful meditation on loneliness, and a moving testament to the value of each and every human life." (Nicola Upson)

Good Story.. Enjoyable

Good story with lots of things going on at some pace, maybe the story is too fast and lacking in some depth.. For me it was lamost over before it really started to get going.

Some quite nasty events in the book.

Reading was amazing as usual with Sual Reichlin.

Average story well read!

So very well read and portrayed by Saul Reichlin but even his great talent doesn't lift this one from predictably mundanity!
