A great addition to the series
What did you like most about The Counterfeit Heiress?
Jeremy and Cecile - my favourite characters from earlier in the series - are back! Witty dialogue, the Parisian setting, an engaging mystery and a dual-POV storyline made this an enjoyable mystery.
Have you listened to any of Bianca Amato’s other performances? How does this one compare?
This is my first by her. At first she seemed a little "posh" to relate to and some of the character voices seemed too similar, even when the characters were a nationality other than English, but I grew to like her fairly quickly and would listen to other books narrated by her.
Any additional comments?
This works well as an addition to the series, but could easily be listened to as a standalone without a listener becoming lost.

Enjoyed twisted blot
This was my first introduction to these characters. The author was clever to give the two sides of the plot. Paris was described wonderfully. It was easy to listen to the reader.

interesting
First time author, that fits into the historical thriller genre. Tasha Alexander is one of several American authors I've come across in the last year that write mysteries set around the turn of the 19th century in London and Paris. I'm not sure what causes them to choose this time frame and geography, maybe an excuse to spend time there researching their stories. This book was set in both London and Paris and had some interesting twists. While not deeply suspenseful it was an interesting listen that was easy to stick with.
