Love his books!

Sheer joy. Just completed listening to this story The Dance of the Seagull. The story is compelling and varies from other books of his. I admit I enjoy them all. The only irritating Character is the inspector's long distance girlfriend Livia. No depth to her at all except that she is charmless and annoying. Just a ploy to keep the inspector single?
