The Peculiar Persecution of Mr John Vincent Harden, A formidable puzzle holds the clue to a long-hidden secret and the tragic fate of two very different families. The Ferrers Documents A slum landlord, a missing witness and a woman in a man's world all figure in a dark tale of hatred and revenge. Excellent Reprose Holmes and Watson Do It Again

If you like Sherlock you will enjoy these full cast professional productions taking you centre stage into the Victorian era.

I have every recorded Sherlock dating back to the 1930's and proud to own these in my collection. Well acted by Clive & Andrew, though it is Clive who commands the show. It was unfortunate Michael Williams passed away during production and it shows that Andrew Sachs was a quick substitute for he is not the right actor to play Watson. He adds nothing to the part, in fact he rather diminishes the roll into a background bit who moans and shouts at Sherlock rather than bringing in anything new or fresh or trying to make the role his own as most good actors would. He can be rather irritating and flat. But when we all think of him as the silly waiter in Faulty Towers we forgive Manuel.

Great fun.

Very much in the mould of the late Jeremy Brett and Edward Hardwicke. Not without humour.
