Good story, terrible accents!

Two interesting plotlines, I enjoyed the story, but found the dire accents of some characters very distracting!

A mild distraction

Not a thrilling page turner but a pleasant enough mystery.

Set in 2 time periods with 2 narrators the Holmes story had me more interested and had the better narration. The modern day story was fine but the narrators mock cockney accent was a grind.

3* not because of anything bad - the book just isnt as good as ones i give 4* to.
