Summary

In a case that will push their relationship to breaking point, Mary Russell must help reverse the greatest failure of her husband Sherlock Holmes's past - a personal defeat that still has the power to sting.

From suicides at Stonehenge to a bizarre religious cult, Russell will find herself on the trail of a killer more dangerous than any she's ever faced - a killer Sherlock Holmes himself may be protecting....

If you are Scots or Orcadian beware

I do not review books, however I must comment on this one.

The narrator's pronunciation in reference to Orkney place names is abysmal as is the Scots accents, which bear no relevance to spoken scots. Obviously no research of these matters have been done prior to recording.

Irritating narration

Rather spoilt by forced accent of narrator. Sounds like aiming for English upper class drawl, but a bit affected.
