Publisher's Summary

A novel that grips from the very beginning and that will live long in the memory, The Last Thing I Remember is Deborah Bee's startling debut thriller.
Sarah is in a coma. Her memory is gone - she doesn't know how she got there. And she doesn't know how she might get out. But then she discovers that her injury wasn't an accident. And that the assailant hasn't been caught.
Unable to speak, see or move, Sarah must use every clue that she overhears to piece together her own past. And work out who it is that keeps coming into her room.

Absolutely brilliant - Yes there's bad language but please don't be put off by it!

I hadn't read anything by this author, in all honesty, I hadn't even heard of this author before I got this book. But... I'm SO happy I've read/listened it.
When I started this audiobook, I wasn't keen on the narrator for Kelly's voice - Kelly uses a lot of bad language (like, every other word, give or take) and I wasn't 100% convinced I'd enjoy this book despite the good reviews.
I can honestly - hand-on-heart - say I'm very upset the book has ended!
Yes there's bad language but I LOVE Kelly! I love her fight and spirit. I love her outlook and views. I absolutely love the narrator for Kelly (I actually loved both narrators). This is a simple book, there's a simple storyline but at the same time, there's so much going on. Everything is linked and tied up in the end. There wasn't a single point where this story 'dragged' or 'lost momentum'. Each chapter perfectly unravelled the story. I like how there are several themes running through this book; especially the whole 'being pretty/beautiful' and the need for the characters to blend in.
Yes there's bad language but please, please don't be put off by it!!! You won't regret it!

despite a slightly more than average swear ratio, this book was great. I'm a hardened mystery reader and I genuinely didn't guess the ending!
