Not Koontz finest work

I struggled to finish this.....and it had a most unsatisfactory ending. Main character was 2 dimensional and no woman/mother would have reacted the way she did. It is hard to explain without spoilers so I won't elaborate. If the “left in mid air“ ending to the book is to leave it open for a second book I won't bother to read it....but my opinion is the sloppy ending is due to this story going nowhere! I recommend you read any other Dean Koontz book than this one. The narrator did a good job.

Another good book from Dean

Not my favourite genre of Dean's if I'm honest but he still puts out a good read (or listen in this case)...I prefer him doing supernatural (Odd Thomas is the best series ever), but I am still looking forward to seeing Jane Hawk develop...

The Silent Corner is a good solid introduction to Jane that should make most readers look forward to the next installment...
