Thoroughly enjoyed this

Don't usually go for this genre but I would recommend it. Enjoyed from beginning to end and I didn't skip any of it, which I do when I loose patience with a book.

I gave up!

Love Ian Rankin's books , but why narrate a mainly male POV with a particularly grating female voice, who made me cringe with her "male characters" Normally, Mr Rankin's works are read by Scotsmen, which SUITS the subject matter. What happened here?
I'll READ it as cannot stand listening. Awful.
