Summary

Back from the dead - and back on the case! Even being murdered doesn't keep a good detective down, and in the Unnatural Quarter - inhabited by ghosts, vampires, werewolves, mummies, and all sorts of creatures that go bump (or thud!) in the night - a zombie PI fits right in. Dan Chambeaux, aka "Shamble", solves a string of madcap cases with his ghost girlfriend Sheyenne, his Best Human Friend Officer Toby McGoohan, and his firebrand lawyer partner Robin Deyer.

Undead Detective lifeless narration

I tried to listen to this. I have read and loved the author's work in the past. I didn't make it past the first chapter. The narration is stilted, more like a radio announcer than a narrator. The rhythm is off, and it just feels clunky. To be fully honest on the review, as I said, I listened to less than the first chapter.

Narration is Dreadful

The book is good, but the narrator is no Phil Gigante! Very disappointing.
