Summary

I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a swordfight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn’t see that one coming. I’ve been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison - and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself....

Its Hard To Predict Whats Next In This Series!!!

I am really impressed with this series. Its a bit hard to predict what will happen in these books, specially the last 2. CrimsonFrost started normally as all of us expected after the ending of the previous book. but then suddenly to many events happen and weird things come to life, the world over our Frost girl changed upside-down and shacked...

Crimson Frost brought several new characters, and here you learn more about Logan's past, family, and his future too.

My feeling during this book was surprised, angry, and amazed of all the events, I can't wait to see what kind of surprises we will get from the next book "Midnight Frost"

A really good series and highly recommended.

Now I have to read book 5

I say I'm going to quit reading these, and this is how well it works. Book 4. Gwen has freed Loki. She didn't mean to. She was tricked. Used by a classmate she trusted who turned out to be Loki's champion. Now Gwen is back at school, but she isn't free. The Protectorate are conducting an investigation into her actions. They are charging that instead of being Nike's champion, that she is really the reaper responsible for the deaths of several people. While she's on trial, Gwen has been lojacked with a Protectorate guard who follows her every move. How's a girl supposed to find out the truth while she's shackled?

And to make things worse? The Protectorate is headed by none other than Linus Quinn. As in Logan Quinn's dad. Yup. Her boyfriend's dad is the guy claiming she's a criminal. Impressing the fam already.

Now, we all know Gwen is innocent. She isn't a reaper, but proving it may prove tricky. Leave it to Gwen. She stumbles, she falls, but she gets up and kicks butt in the end.

This series is YA. That is the only reason this isn't a five star read for me. The amount of repetition and explanation is way beyond what I need when I read a story and that makes it drag for me. I also would like to see Gwen get more than a kiss from the luscious Logan. I am to be perpetually disappointed on that score, because YA, but I do love an Estep story. I'm also reading the Elemental Assassin series. The woman does love a good star-crossed lover angle. I cannot abandon the story where this one left off. I will read the next book. Soon.
