Summary

Loose lips sink ships...and result in murder.
When Myrtle and her friend Miles set out for adventure on the high sea, they assume most of the trip's excitement will result from shore excursions to charming Alaskan villages.
They feel as if their ship has come in. But when a fellow passenger disappears, Myrtle realizes she must seize the helm and find the killer...before more souls are lost.

Cruising for Murder

A fun filled who dunnit with Miss Myrtle in full gear and Myles right there beside her. Cruising round Alaska with one aim for Miss Myrtle, to see a bear, she got a lot more than she asked for. I love listening to these books and as I too don't sleep well, I relisten to these books, I think this will become one of my favourites.

Soul grating voice

Appalling performance. Got through solely because I wanted to hear the story to the end. Awful awful voice and v faked and southern accent. Southern accents are beautiful but not in this faked case.

Love Myrtle

This is a break from the normal neighborhood for Myrtle. And while the gnomes don't go on the cruise, she finds a way to show Red her displeasure, despite being in Alaskan waters. We save goodbye to Irma Sherman for a while and meet some new characters...some annoying, some more annoying. But Myrtle and An unwilling Miles figure it out. Lots of salmon is consumed. Overall, an enjoyable book. Changes in narrators is unsettling at first, but Judy Blue does a fine job.
