Trei, sapte si asul îl însoteau în somn, luând diferite înfatisari. Trei înflorea în fata lui ca o grandiflora învolta, sapte i se înfatisa ca o poarta gotica, iar asul ca un paianjen imens.

Suntem niste pigmei în comparatie cu Puskin. Nu mai exista printre noi un asemenea geniu. Ce frumusete, ce vigoare are fantezia lui! Am recitit de curând Dama de pica. Ce fantezie! ... Cu o analiza subtila el a urmarit toate miscarile lui Hermann, toate chinurile lui, toate sperantele si, în sfârsit, neasteptata si îngrozitoarea lui cadere.

Short and interesting

The story is short but keeps you connected and interested at all times. Its about human caracter not at its best behaviour. Just loved it!
