Herbert Jones's book allows a deep dive into the purpose of Data Analytics within the business situation without going got up in the engineering phases that make most other DS books difficult to know. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is engaged in learning more about the theory from both a business and technical view.

I am learning a lot of books on big data and this book is clearly must- book. It is not regarding big data but it is about data and statistical approaches so that you can improve your vision and your strategy about data. Mainly they are giving good samples so it is very easy to get the idea. I like it...

The writers do a fabulous job of keeping the ideas fit to actual business results. I am a database developer, who also builds data mining models, and I wish more of my company's business administrators would understand this book! Data is an asset and should be treated as such.
