Poor

Silly storyline, unbelievable characters, and a sudden even sillier abrupt end. I sometimes think authors simply push out dross like this in order to fulfill their contractual obligation. Sorry, not for me

Wasn’t expecting this storyline

I nearly gave up with it but stuck with it and so glad I did as it turned into a brilliant read. Great plot twists.

I like Maureen Lee and I enjoyed this book as much as her Liverpool ones. Great narration as well.

Confused from the start

Division of ‘Now’ and ‘Then’ too early on thus confusing!Narrator good. Didn’t get into if you blinked you would undoubtedly rewind two minutes. Sorry not for me.

A surprise little gem

at first I wasn't too sure with "now" and "then", but it developed into a plot with twists, good ones! felt very much as if I was watching the story,

Dreadful plot

Enjoyed previous books by Maureen Lee.
This book was so predictable and weak story line with the narrator s dreadful attempted Cornish accent not helping.
Very disappointing.

Awful narration

I have listened to and enjoyed many of Maureen lee’s stories, but I just couldn’t listen to this one, the narration is terrible, it is like someone rushing through an instruction manual. Such a shame.
