Not for me
I enjoyed the opening few chapters which were positive and full of enthusiasm but I'm afraid once the book got practical, it lost me. I realised pretty quickly that I'm not an "entrepreneur" in the sense of this book, even though I've set up and run 4 successful businesses in the past decade. I have no desire to create a global business or to have great wealth. My businesses are there to support my way of life.
The idea of walking around with £1,000 in my pocket just so I can refuse to buy things I could get with that wad of cash is, for me, totally ludicrous. The idea of making 3 calls randomly, inviting a stranger to lunch etc etc. Nope. Even more crazy is the contention that I need to price my core product at £1,000+. I sell craft kits. Lots of them. But none cost a grand.
By the terms of this book, I'm an abject failure. Fortunately for me, I'm a happy one.
The narration is pretty good - nice to have an English accent for a change. He does sound a little like C3PO when played at 1.5x speed.

What did you love best about Entrepreneur Revolution?
There were a couple moments that I feel certainly changed me, which is a lot to gain from a five hour audiobook. I am no stranger to researching entrepreneurship, and I honestly expected a lot of the same things I have heard in other books. I was pleasantly surprised to find some of my ideas challenged. This book will motivate you, if he was selling something I would have bought it! I also enjoyed some of the thought challenges and activities presented in the book.
Motivation is great, but what about take away? I'll be honest, towards the mid-end I lost a little drive. I get frustrated trying to decide how to filter, find, and develop ideas. The ending was crazy powerful to me however, and I now want to listen again. Especially chapter 7.
I read these books expecting to both become inspired and leave with actions I can take to making my dreams a reality. 5/5 for motivation and purpose, this book has it. From a practical sense, I felt somewhat like the advice was geared more towards his marketing background than other business ideas. There will never be a step by step guide to creation, because your business and life is untrodden ground.
Bottom line is its worth 5 hours of your life, and I look forward to more listens and gems of knowledge gained. Thank you Daniel!

The bible for entrepreneurs. 2 thumbs up for Entre
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely. It is a wonderful book, especially to anyone who is thinking of becoming an entrepreneur. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I am currently listening to it for the 2nd time, some parts i've heard about 7 times.
What other book might you compare Entrepreneur Revolution to and why?
Haven't read any books that compare yet.
What about Glen McCready’s performance did you like?
Excellent reading by Glen McCready.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I think the title is perfect, gripping: Entrepreneur Revolution, sounds like Atlas Shrugged.
Any additional comments?
I am directing a Municipal Entrepreneurship Center in a developing country. Needless to say, the challenges we are facing are huge, but so are the opportunities. I am also a mentor for this center, and I have to admit sometimes I run out of ideas. That is until I downloaded this audiobook. It is completely filled with valuable tips, strategies and insights that I have found very helpful. From the "product ecosystem" to the "7 maxims" that every entrepreneur should follow, I enjoyed every second. I absolutely recommend it for anyone who is thinking about joining the entrepreneur revolution.
