Summary

A white hot standalone romance from USA Today best-seller Lili Valente.
"Leave the mask on, princess, but everything else comes off. I'm ready to see what's mine."
They say you don't know what you've got until it's gone, but I knew long before the day I said goodbye to Ivy Prescott that I was never going to find another woman like her.
Now, we're both six years older, and my sweet, innocent Ivy has become a sexy, irresistible woman. She wasn't ready for me then, but she's ready for me now. Ready to learn all the wicked, wonderful things I have to teach her.
Her lesson will begin with a box. A box with a beautiful dress, a mask, and an invitation to come play with a man who has been watching her from afar....
A man who wants to master her - body and soul....
Warning: This sinfully sexy listen features a dominant alpha male who likes to play rough with his toys - but don't worry, he'll make sure you enjoy every scorchingly hot minute of it.

Unbelievably Hot!

If you could sum up Masquerade with the Master in three words, what would they be?

Steamy, erotic, intriguing

What was one of the most memorable moments of Masquerade with the Master?

When Ivy and Edward get caught in the gardens and she tumbles off of a wall.

What does C.J. Mission and Devra Woodward bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They add humor and emotion to the characters that you don't get when reading the book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending when Ivy surprises Edward with a gift (I don't want to give away spoilers)

Second Chance...Waiting for Her To Grow Up

I am torn with this book and disliking and liking both Edward and Ivy. Edward was a crush of Ivy’s long before they hooked up for 6 months when she was 20 and he about 4-6 years older and into serious BDSM...rich he could have access to clubs...that’s when they fell apart or he dumped her when she was unable to ‘perform’ as he wanted. He says he wanted to wait for her to grow up...well she felt dumped hurtfully.
This I think showed a mean edge to Edward, yet i liked him as the story progressed as he did do what he thought was best just in a stupid way. Of course I think she forgave him bit too easily...
Anyway he did turn out to be caring and loving, but certainly liked the harder core BDSM, which worked for her.
Lots of sex..lots of excitement. Worth the $ for a hot book..plus the narrators were very good and made the characters come to life,
