So this is absolutely something you must read in order. Book one ends and book two essentially takes off from that exact point.
Our boys are still in trouble and still running and get separated again….
This book was a bit tedious for me and I found myself zoning out a lot.
In book one there was excitement in the boys finding one another and joining their ménage together. In book two it’s all about the chasing. (It reminded me of the SUPER LONG last book of Harry Potter where Hermione and Harry are out being teenagers and angsting all over the place for what felt like FOREVER while they look for/wait for Ron. A good editing is needed there and here to make this move along at a better pace.)
Jason Winters has a bit of a lisp sometimes that began to annoy me a bit – probably because the book wasn’t nearly as captivating as book one.
My hope is that book three will redeem itself to me and I can go back to enjoying this series.
You have to read this to continue, but it’s not my favorite by a long shot.
