Summary
Welcome to the sensual world of This Man...

Great story
Loved the story and thought the Narrater did a really good job, but would have loved a male voice for the Jessie parts.
Loved Ava and Jessie’s story can’t wait for the next one especially after that ending!!!

Steamy story laugh out loud moments
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This man is believable his flaws push her away, but he is like gravity she cant stay away !!! The london setting is great makes a change to have a sexy english bloke as the hot lead character. cant wait for "Beneath this man" so come on audible lets have it !!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jessie he wont give up he wont compromise he knows they should be together and he is prepared to fight for it>
What does Edita Brychta bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
she made the story even better especially the gritty exchanges between Jesse and Ava her accent is modern posh british so when she swears its funny
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I just want her to give him a second chance so bring on book 2

A porn story for bored housewives
Is there anything you would change about this book?
More concrete action, less detailed sex scenes, which constitutes major part of almost every chapter

Phew, this book is red hot
Ava and Jesse! This story is electric from start to finish. I also like the additional chapter at the end from Jesse's POV. Can't wait to start the next one.

Abusive relationship dressed up as romance.
This book just made me angry. An abusive controlling relationship tarted up as ‘romance’. It sets a dangerous view of what is ok and normal for young women. I listened to the end only because I wanted to find out if she told him where to go.
The metaphors were pretty terrible too eg “panting like a dehydrated dog” isn’t very sexy.

Brilliant start to a fantastic trilogy
Would you consider the audio edition of This Man to be better than the print version?
Yes I would- I had read the trilogy twice on my kindle before I listened to this audio version and I found that the narration added even more to my enjoyment of the trilogy
Who was your favorite character and why?
Impossible to pick between the two main characters. Both so well developed by the author that they enthral you, irritate you, annoy you and captivate you.

No

Too many to pick just one. I think Ava's total confusion over Jesse and her feelings for him

The book and author are amazing... BUT
If you are a huge fan of jodies books then please stick with the books... they are AMAZING. But the audio book has left me very disappointed. Ava (the narrator sounds like a middle aged posh woman who sounds NOTHING Like how I can imagine Ava to sound...the same for her version of Jessie. I have never left a negative review but I am hugely disappointed. The narrator edita has a wonderful soothing voice... but not one for this series. I’m sorry.
