Inspired by Game of Thrones, these short erotic vignettes follow the "fantasy" genre label all the way: fire-breathing dragons, noble knights, and king’s court drama provide a canvass for polymorphous pleasures, which, to be sure, offer a little something for just about everyone. What makes Thrones of Desire a truly unique and valuable forebear of erotic fiction, however, is its varied range of sexual perspectives and meaningful discussions on important aspects of sexuality - from gender identity to rape culture. Author Mitzi Szereto neither diminishes these issues nor does he compromise the throbbing desire that drives these fantasies. Performer Alastair Haynesbridge is downright dashing.
