Summary
On a busy Washington morning, the stately calm of the White House is shattered in a deadly terrorist attack on the executive mansion. The president is evacuated to an underground bunker, but not before nearly 100 hostages are taken.
Mitch Rapp, the CIA’s top counterterrorism operative, is sent in to take control of the crisis and determines that the president is not as safe as Washington’s power elite had thought. Indeed, Rapp has made a chilling discovery that could rock Washington to its core: someone within his own government wants his rescue attempt to fail.

So much better than the abridged version!
Mitch Rapp gets tangled up in a terror attack on the White House.
Narration is OK most of the time.

Change the narrator
Good book, but the narration lets it down unfortunately. Previous books in the series were far superior.

Narrator could be better
Narrator made frequent mistakes but enjoyable story. One of the best story lines of the series

Top notch covert op. / political thriller.
Mitch Rapp is a formidable character. I have been slow to join the Vince Flynn party but I will be sure to revisit it at regular intervals in the near future. Fans of Jack Reacher, Victor the assassin, John Rain and the like will surely enjoy Much Rapp, especially if the extra political dimension appeals. Narration of the audiobook is very good throughout.

Brilliant!!!
I don’t normally write reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. The book grips you from the beginning. I will certainly be reading more of Vince Flynn’s books.

A trifle predictable but loved it non the less
You know what's coming when Mitch is around but who cares. Exciting And engaging characters and plot, maybe a bit rushed at the end but a satisfying big read (listen).
