The views of a past geology student .
An interesting and thought provoking book. Many of the statements coincide with my own thoughts. However the author reserves his rigour for his criticism of the established theories and relaxes when postulating his own.
A few observations :
Firstly he makes great play that no intermediate forms have been found. This may be expected as the fossil record is far from continuous and comprises mainly those existing at extinction events.
Secondly he considers only the argument that random events could not have created the complexity that we see. Surely other explanations are possible, and more likely, besides the creator theory.
Third. I find it difficult to believe that fully formed complex organisms could suddenly appear whilst disbelieving that tiny DNA modifications are impossible.
Fourthly he seems to support the biblical account of creation whilst pouring scorn on the big bang theory. I have recently come to realise that the opening verses of Genesis describe the big bang very well.
Nevertheless it is worth reading if only for his insight and interpretation of geological events.

I was hoping for a thoughtful & evidence based argument to point out weaknesses of evolutionary science. The author consistently ignored important science findings, made his argument of probability on bizarre premise, and repeated old, frequently debunked ideas like the impossibility of eye evolution. Embarrassing for someone who calls himself a scientist.
The narrator mispronounced many common science terms causing even further loss of credibility.
I returned this at ca 50% point as he began trying to make his very weak and fantasy case for the reality of the great flood event. Pure propaganda of ideology, not even close to science.

usually list of unexplained things about Evolution and of course it's all attributed to God I really think it's just a list of unexplained things that should be addressed in the scientific community and not just attributed to God but just gives you a good list of The Unexplained things out there in the universe
