Summary

When Querry, a world famous architect, finds he no longer enjoys his life he sets off on a voyage. Arriving anonymously at a leper colony in the Congo, he is diagnosed as the mental equivalent of a ‘burnt-out case’. Graham Greene is an excellent writer. I love how his stories have an ending we could never imagine. I can appreciate that his work is not for everyone, but if you are a Greene fan, this is worth a read.

A slow burner, but worth the time...

Took me about 2 hours of listening to get fully into it, but now that I've finished I want to start all over again! Captivating characters that are very relatable, intriguing story and as ever great conversation and questions put out by the characters, as you would expect from
Greene. Great acting too. Overall loved it.
