You can't pick your family

Lily has fallen in love, but her parents and community try to sabotage the relationship as Nic is Jewish. Lily is the dutiful daughter and as each chapter goes from present day to six years ago, we slowly learn what happened to the relationship and how friends and parents aren't all they seem.

A very engrossing ending, as you feel as if you are trapped in the hurricane with them, and don't quite know who'll survive.
