Summary

The house has soft, purple wisteria twining around the door. You step inside. The hall is cool after the hot summer’s day. The welcome is kind, and always warm. Yet something makes you suspect life here can’t be as perfect as it seems. After all, the brightest smile can hide the darkest secret. But wouldn’t you pay any price to have a glorious place like this?

Kept me entertained

I found this book palled a little for me. The characters were a bit cliched and the story long winded. The narration didn't help as lots of long pauses were used in odd places which I found irritating. It was ok but I wouldn't read it again.

Slow start but stick with it and you won't regret

Took me literally hours to get into this, nearly gave up but persisted
slow start and takes ages to link the characters but once you do and the proper story starts it's worth it!
Really glad I stuck with it and have a feeling a second listen will be more enjoyable than the first now the start (well, first 3 hours) has some actual meaning.
