What the Critics Say

"Kim Wilkins has a gift for creating narratives that swivel between the world of fantasy and reality. This is a tribute to the measured purposefulness of her prose ... Inhabitants of the real world will be seduced by this fantasy." (Sydney Morning Herald)

Amazing book, average voice acting

Kim Wilkins is a hugely talented fantasy author. You will probably enjoy her work if you like modern fantasy writers like Neil Gaiman.
This book is great. It's probably not quite as good as Giants of the Frost, but it's pretty close.
The voice acting for this audio book is not very good. Some of it is fine, but the characters with foreign accents (there's a lot in the book) sound awkward and stilted.
Don't let it put you off. It's not terrible just a little annoying. I still enjoyed the experience of the book a great deal.
