Roth and I are on an open-ended tour of the world. Roth being Roth, this means missionary in Morocco, reverse cowgirl in Calcutta, bent over the bow of a houseboat in Hanoi, slow and sleepy on St. John. Anywhere and everywhere, in every conceivable position and some I didn't know were possible. Life is pretty incredible. Until I wake up in his chateau in France alone. On the bed next to me is a note. There are only four words: "He belongs to me."

BUCKLE UP & HOLD ON... COZ IT'S A WILD BUMPY RIDE
Wow, what a powerful, intense, harrowing and heartbreaking story this is as an evil twisted bitch from Roth's past shows up which seriously puts everyone's lives in jeopardy and the results are dangerous, devastating and it does terrible physical and mental damage to Roth and Kyrie's relationship..... and their very lives.
It's an action-packed ride with no way of knowing what's next... except more intrigue, suspense, violence, twists, heartache, passion and lots of sex. It was addictive, pulse-pounding, shocking, climatic, chilling, thrilling and oh so romantic and touching.
Told from both POV's the female narrator was much better than the male because he sometimes didn't quite get into the scene.
Worth a credit? Oh yeah, Jasinda you are at the top of your field, and I can't wait for Omega (book 3) which will hopefully be the conclusion and the HEA that this loving couple so deserves and I'll be looking out for it's release later this year as planned.

Didn't Love it
What a disappointment!!! Look, I loved Alpha and I read the reviews for beta so I knew I was getting into a dark story. But this was terrible for the following reasons:
1. Roth is a little biatch. He gets kidnapped and raped. This simply would not happen to Gideon Cross or Eliah Al-Saud. Kidnapped? Yeah. Tortured? Yeah. But chained to a bed and raped for 3 days by an ex-girlfriend? No. Then when said ex-girlfriend kidnaps Kyrie, its Roth's (one and only) personal security guard who makes the plans, has the foresight to bring money to hire help, and its ultimately Kyrie who disposes of the threat. So what's the point of Roth's existence? ...there is none.
2. STDs. They are not concerned about getting them. Look, I personally hate when I'm reading a smutty novel and just when things are getting good, the characters have to stop to reach for a condom. I'm a married woman - Condom use aint sexy to me. BUT after being raped for 3 days, I think a man should at least take some PrEP before he sleeps with his girlfriend again. Just sayin'. That whole scene, I found myself wishing for a condom to magically appear. ***shudders***
3. The narration is bad. Tyler what-his-face sounds bored. No inflection in his tone, nothing to distinguish which character is speaking. I let my husband listen and he said is sounded like the guy was reading the news.
In short, if you liked Alpha, don't read Beta. If you didn't like Alpha, you won't understand Beta. So bascially, no one should read this.
