Summary

HER SECRETS ARE UGLY.

They've kept her from coming home.

Now she's risking everything to return.

She thought it would be a quick trip. Show up. Say the right words. Then she'd be gone.

She never counted on meeting him.

The football star.

The single dad.

He knew she was shattered by some event she kept hidden under lock and key.

The clues on her body failed to reveal her secrets - unlike scars on his body that clearly publicized his.

The clock was ticking, giving him only a short time to uncover the true meaning of the flower branded into her flesh.

Because if she got back on that plane, he knew it would be forever.

Grab your tissues and listen to this sexy romance now!

Note to listener: This book can be listened to as a standalone novel. It is the third book in a series that follows three sisters. This series can easily be enjoyed out of order.

Series listening order: Purple Orchids, White Lilies, Black Roses.

Due to adult language and sexual situations, this book is intended for mature audiences.

The Beginning of Their Forever....

A beautiful ending to a fantastic series. Thank you Samantha for this beautiful story.

Have you ever wished you could just jump into a book and smack the bejesus out of someone? Well believe me when I tell you... You're gonna want too now. Cassidy, the mother of Masson' s daughter Hailey, is such a piece of work. The way she manipulates and cinives her way through life is so frustrating but (if I may be frank) the bitch finally goes down. Won't tell you how because you will have to listen to find out. 😉

Piper has barely survived after a traumatic event in her life that brought tears to my eyes, and fears she will never know what the love of a man is like. She has been scared for life. How will she ever overcome what has happened to her. She decides to leave her family behind and takes off with her long time friend as she is her only support and strength until Masson comes along.

Masson a football star and a single dad, is every woman's fantasy and dream come true but even at his younge age of only 22, his only focus is his daughter Hailey and football. He doesn't need a woman in his life. The only woman in his life is Hailey until he meets Piper. Their life intertwines suddenly and even though the beginning was rocky, they prove to us that dreams do come true and that no matter what life has thrown at you, you can overcome anything if you believe.

I loved that Samantha had a duel POV. Piper and Masson shared chapter for chapter and it was very interesting to follow the story this way. I loved each character for their individual personalities. This story is full of sass, laughter, some pain and tears, joy and most of all love, respect, courage and happiness. Thank you again Samantha for your genius mind and way of words.

A Tramatic Story That Becomes A HEA Romance.⭐️💘

Black Roses: A Mitchell Sisters Novel,
Book 3
By: Samantha Christy
Audiobook 🎧
Narrated by: Lauren Sweet, Gary Furlong
Length: 9 hrs and 56 mins
(Read Using Kindle Unlimited)

Fabulous narration by both narrators.🎧👏 They both brought the story to life really well.

Piper was traumatised in her mid teens. Only her parents and best friend, Charlie, know what occurred. She's since lived abroad but promised to attend Skylars' wedding if/when it ever happened. She regrets that promise now she's back in the city.

Mason is Griffin's best friend. He's picking Piper up from the airport for her family. Although he's attracted to her, they do not get on. She treats him like he's scum when he's, in fact, a very nice person, and he's a great Dad.

As the weeks go on, Piper & Mason are forced to spend more and more time together. It becomes apparent that her trauma is colouring her attitude towards him. They slowly get to know one another and become friends. Then, they begin to open up to each other and start to become more.

This was a good story. I was disappointed that Piper was portrayed as a verbal b!t#h.😔 Other than that, it was good.

Love Samantha’s work

A fabulous book brought to life. This series of books is amazing, each with its own headache.

Pipers is a tragic story, finding Mason is the best thing that could happen to her. Piper just needs to realise this.

One of the best audio books EVER

I have listened to all three book in this series - each one better than the last. But this one surpassed all other audiobooks I have listened to. The storyline is exceptional, the narrators certainly did the story justice. Everything about this book is well worth five stars, the storyline, the narration, the characters…. and well done to whoever wrote the description for letting readers know the sequence of books to this series. It would be nice if this were the case with all audiobooks which were part of a series.

Black Roses

This is a great third book in the series, with a lot of sorrow, and history to over come. Read with great feeling by Lauren Sweet and Gary Furlong.
