Summary

Kelli MacCabe is a no-nonsense detective with a tough exterior. Only a select few know her as a loyal, loving friend. Committed to her family, her friends, and her job, Kelli puts her needs behind everyone else's.

As a surgeon, Nora Whitmore is used to being in control. The hospital is her life and leaves room for little else. Respected by her colleagues, but misunderstood by the residents, Nora takes what she needs and keeps everyone at arm's length. In the process, she creates unexpected enemies.

Tragedy brings them together. As chaos grows around them, the lines between them begin to blur. Despite being from different worlds, friendship grows between them, turning quickly to attraction. Will these two strong, independent women find a way to deal with their individual baggage? Or will they be overcome by it?

Brilliant

Would you consider the audio edition of Blurred Lines to be better than the print version?

it was such a good audio book and the first book ive listened to with this narrator she was really easy to listen to and made the characters very likeable

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blurred Lines?

when Kellie`s partner feels something in his legs ,it was such a brief mention but so important to kellie

What about Sarah Grant’s performance did you like?

love it

I loved this book when I read it and the audible version did not disappoint. The narration was good and had me gripped just as much as the written story. I would definitely recommend this book and will definitely want more from this series. Excellent work.

boring - drudgy story

I really did not like this book - why the need to spend a whole chaptersmon one single action- like eating a taco was beyond me! The writer tried to develop and maintain sexual tension between Nora and Kelly but you ended up so boared that fast forwarding was way more exciting!

a tale of two halves

hmm, on my first listen, it took me more than two hours to really engage... which is really unusual for me... I nearly gave up and got a refund... the two main characters are both difficult to like at first.... and one 'ice queen' is hard enough to take, unless they have glimpses of redeeming characteristics early on, but.... people who are rude for no reason, and who are very cold are hard to like... the only book I've read which makes this trope work for me is 'Who'd have thought?' by G Benson... ( that's a lovely story) and there was only one seemingly ice queen character...
BUT this book did get better... the characters did open up and grow and change.... but it all seemed unrealistic, unbalanced and impossibly rushed at the end... I know, I know, it's lesfic and a trope etc, but I just feel that some semblance of reality isn't too much to ask for.... I was left feeling deflated at the end, rather than the normal feeling of contentment... this author can write... but, this story seemed like it was...what?, a series of fanfic, crushed into a novel?? just something missing.
also, the reader was not that great... in fact, they may be why I found this hard to like.. I find it difficult to like a book if the reader is challenging, so, overall, not my fav Ylva- audible production... :(

Brilliantly written

Engaging and well read with changed voices for different characters. One of the best ones yet!
