I love had to write this review to say thank you to the author for writing such a lovely and extremely emotional book. Kate Sedgwick(AKA Bright side) is now one of my favourite characters. She epitomises living in the moment and as it says in the book she doesn't just look on the bright side, she is the bright side. This story will make you blubber but it is also inspirational.
I loved this book. Great narration and storyline. Be Brave and Do Epic! A Must Listen!
SPOILERS: This is a beautiful story and was very well written. The characters were interesting and the narrators did a great job. The story seemed true to life and very believable. Only problem was that it was the saddest story I think I have read in a long time, if ever. I don't think I have ever cried this much over a book and felt this empty after I finished. Totally worth it if you don't mind the heartbreak. I prefer HEAs so I wish I knew what I was getting into because it will be awhile before I get past the sad. Just too sad for my taste. I gave it five stars because everything was great as far as the story and narration goes. It just wasn't what I like to read. Totally depressed with red puffy eyes now.

A brilliant novel that requires a whole lot of tissue. I'm giving this 5 stars because I loved it. But I have such a hard time with the language - the f-bomb is not in everyone's every day vocabulary in real life and although I'm not against it being used here or there as needed, the frequency in this novel was a real negative for me. It seemed to replace the word "very" or "really" way too often. Just my opinion - please don't judge me for saying so. Clearly by my rating, I did not judge the book/author for it. This is just a heads up for others who might feel the same about that word.
Narration was wonderful!
