Summary
Christmas at Tiffany's is an exciting, globetrotting story of friendship and romance from Karen Swan.
Cassie settled down too young, marrying her first serious boyfriend. Now, 10 years later, she is betrayed and broken. With her marriage in tatters and no career or home of her own, she needs to work out where she belongs in the world and who she really is.
So begins a yearlong trial as Cassie leaves her sheltered life in rural Scotland to stay with each of her best friends in the most glamorous cities in the world: New York, Paris and London. Exchanging grouse moor and mousy hair for low-carb diets and high-end highlights, Cassie tries on each city for size as she attempts to track down the life she was supposed to have been leading, and with it the man who was supposed to love her all along.
Christmas at Tiffany's is followed by the captivating sequel, Summer at Tiffany's.

Best To Date!
Fabulous book! Thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Great story with authentic characters and extremely well narrated.
Christmas at Tiffany’s is witty and funny, sad in parts but always beautifully crafted .
This has been my best Karen Swan book to date and will remain a favourite for a long time to come.
Hate to say goodbye to the characters. They have become good friends.

Christmas at Tiffany’s - mixed reaction
I wanted to give up on this book so many times in the early chapters as it seemed to be just a series of name dropping episodes to show off how well the author and her characters knew their designer labels. This really ticked me off and I thought I’d stumbled upon a shallow and meaningless book which is not my usual fare. The book did improve in the last third and the shallowness of earlier pages was replaced with more depth. However it wasn’t sufficient to redeem the story as a whole in my opinion.
The performance was very good as several accents and characters were called for.

A great listen and fabulously narrated!
I really enjoyed this, and will be buying the sequel. That said, I really hope it's the same narrator as she was amazing!

Easy listening
I enjoyed this book despite its predictability. The insight into her characters lifestyles was fun and her description of the various cities imaginative. The narration was excellent.

Great story, loved the narrator
Really like this narrator such a lovely voice to listen too. Not as Christmassy as I’d thought by the title but really enjoyed the story. I would recommend as a entertaining feel good book that’s easy to listen too.

Just Lovely
I absolutely loved this book by Karen Swan. My only regret is a read Summer at Tiffany's first which was a mistake. The research Karen Swan does for her books is first class and I could imagine Cassie in NYC and Paris.
Highly recommend and tbh you could read/listen to this any time of the year

Easy listening, brilliant narration
All of Karen Swan’s books are eminently readable. Very easy listening and very enjoyable. Perhaps a little formulaic but pure escapism.
What I particularly like about this audiobook is Katie Scarfe’s brilliant narration, she is without doubt my favourite.
