Laugh out loud funny!!
So I was walking along and listening to this book on my phone using earphones (as one does) and I couldn't help myself but laugh out loud! That would be my biggest complaint about this book because I do not fancy getting stared at like I'm a few sandwiches short of a picnic. But there was no avoiding it.
Rich Amooi has crafted a delightfully funny, superbly colourful romance with quirky characters. It has all the robustness of rich arabica coffee and the sweetness of freshly baked scones. It is a shorter book, which makes it fast paced and thoroughly entertaining. Greg Tremblay gives a well matched performance, highlighting the subtle nuances of the slightly crazy characters in slightly bizarre circumstances. Fantastic!

Adorable, Funny and Entertaining!
I loved this story! It was fun to listen too and had me laughing out loud. Jack and Susie are opposites. Jack's passion is his coffee shop, Susie's passion is her tea and scones. These two become competitors when Susie opens a shop right next to Jack. When Jack starts to lose sales, he does a few promotions that have comical results. Jack and Susie both volunteer to help with the downtown festival, and end up working and getting to know each other better. Their bitter feelings soon turns into attraction and they go on a few dates, but Jack's made a mistake that could cost Susie her tea shop. The secondary characters were great. Harvey was hilarious, and I really liked Jack's dog, who didn't like women with the exception of Susie.
Greg Tremblay did a great job with the narration. He really brought the story and characters to life.

Refreshingly Light-Hearted Romantic Comedy!
Rich Amooi delivers a well written story with a great pace, and plot that's sweet, funny and will leave listener with a feel good feeling. I liked the story wasn't filled with a lot of unnecessary mental dialogue dragging it out. It had a great pace, and transitioned smoothly from scene to scene.
The main characters, as well as the secondary characters were great! Each had their own unique personality, even the little Chihuahua who didn't like women.
Greg Tremblay's performance was awesome! He did a great job on the characters and each had their own distinguishable voice.
A clean, light-hearted romance that doesn't leave you emotionally drained. Well worth the time. I was voluntarily provided this free review audiobook copy by the author, narrator, or publisher.
