Summary

Please note: This book was previously published as Dear Bridget I Want You. Only the title and cover have been changed. All other content remains the same.

From The New York Times best-selling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Mister Moneybags comes a new, sexy stand-alone novel.

Dear Bridget,

I’m writing this letter because it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever garner the courage to say this to your face.

So, here goes.

We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.

But here’s the thing...for some bloody reason, I can’t stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.

I want you.

The only reason I’m even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don’t believe it’s one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we’re joking around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke.

So, what’s the purpose of this note? I guess it’s a reminder that we’re adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it’s to let you know that I’m leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you’d fancy a British bedmate in the middle of the night sometime.

No questions asked.

Think about it.

Or don’t.

Whatever you choose.

It’s doubtful I’ll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.

-Simon

British bedmate

I enjoyed the story, made a change from all the drama in most of the books I read or listen too! As a Brit I was pleasantly surprised by Zachary Webber’s British accent. It’s made me want to search out more British books to listen too!

Beautiful story

Fabulously entertaining. Romance at its best yet with an exciting twist. Both narrators are also brilliant.

Brilliant!

I loved this book. It had me laughing out at times and i was so invested in the Characters, I couldn"t stop listening.
I love when Zachary and Andi work together, their voices are so expressive, I feel everything they act, their performance is always special.
Yes Andi's british accent might've dropped a few times, but so what, in my opinion her charisma is more important than the accent.
Zachary Webber's voice is phenomenal, he can make the dictionary sound hot.
If you want a funny, sexy, entertaining story, than look no further. I would give this 10 stars for each category if I could.

Lovely and funny

Such a nice story, honest and easy to listen to. There was enough drama, but no dramatics (which can become tedious) the story was enough on its own.

Another Hit from Penelope & Vi

When Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland write something you know that it's going to be good and this was no exception.

It was a fun, sexy and emotional story with very little angst.

Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber did an amazing job narrating.

Great story but unconvincing British dialogue

Interesting story with a warm sweet heart breaking centre. Both Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are fantastic writers, but please don't try a British character again unless you find a British editor who can catch all the mistakes. I'm not picky but the dialogue was full (and yes I mean FULL) of words and expression an English man would never say. And please note, Loo does not mean bathroom, it mean's toilet. Brits never say 'buddy' and never ever say 'different than'
So it just jarred and was harder to believable
Likewise, the narrator made several mistakes with the accent.
