Soldiers Don't Quit
Soldiers do a lot of things . . . stupid stuff . . . but ONE thing they don't do is QUIT . . . they aren't wishy washy . . . once they make their mind up, its pretty much a done deal . . . that's why this second in the series has me perplexed . . . the son of a career soldier, a soldier himself and a brother to a household of soldiers can't make his mind up . . . and a twelve year old is the only one in the story with his head on his shoulders . . . I LOVE this author . . . am wondering what she was thinking when she wrote this story . . . it is way heavy on the romance and way too shy on the substance . . . had the potential to be a GREAT story . . . but for me, it fell short . . .

Great sequel with a more romantic thread to this story and a totally different problem. Loved the cameo performances by the artists colony residents from the first book. Great characters. I cared about them all. Very well paced plot and great imagery. Highly recommend.
