Excellent Narrative

I listened to this book each day whilst travelling to work on the bus and it transported me to Wales where the story is told. The writing and description is inspiring; the style of prose is impressive. All in all this is a beautifully written tale of discovery and understanding. Well worth a listen.

Atmospheric

Great story beautifully told. Immersion in the welsh country life quiet lovely. The social life reminiscent to a degree of my own background. Such a huge shame the very good reader seemed unable to pronounce all the Welsh names properly rather than just some. Also Eve would not have used the term “Grandmother” but as with most welsh communities “ Nain”.
