A pleasant romantic novel

I bought this title around Christmas and thought it would be more Christmassy - the story does start at Christmas and it has enough schmalz to make up for the lack of Christmassyness after the opening chapters. It is a decent and quite entertaining romantic novel with several well drawn characters. Of its kind, it's a well-executed novel, well read and easy to listen to. The narrator is clear and her voice is well suited to the story. Whilst I don't recommend it highly, those who enjoy romantic novels will probably enjoy this.
