I am emotionally spent!
Any additional comments?
I listened to this audiobook straight after book 1 which I adored. Book 1 grabbed my attention and became the first book I was emotionally invested in for a long time. Book 2 had me gripped, I was on an emotional rollercoaster so much so at one point I wanted to get off!! I couldn't bare what was happening to our leading lovers, I was listening whilst hiding behind the sofa metaphorically speaking! Of course I couldn't hit the pause button as I just couldn't leave this story alone at all. As I said in my book 1 review I rarely write reviews but these books have me gripped, and this is a series where the story is in equal stature to the sex. You'll not be disappointed.

Disappointing second in series
There were several aspects of this book that I didn't care for. After a while the main character's refusal to talk to her boy friend and running away gets old. I wasn't into the dominance sexuality where the woman wants to be submissive in the bed room and be punished for her mistakes. She is otherwise too strong a woman to make this convincing. The final twist in the story was particularly unbelievable.

Don't do it!
What was the author thinking when she created Erica's character? Over my lifetime, I have read thousands of Romance novels. Erica by far is the dumbest Harvard graduate I've ever read about. Yes, Blake's character is not too much better. He is controlling but Erica is so dumb someone has to make good decisions that make sense. Lord knows she can't! Not only that, she was nasty, judgemental, hypocritical, and indecisive. Dumb! Dumber! Dumbest! The author tried to make her this strong character but Ms. Wild failed miserably. Her stupid decisions overtook her strength.
Also, it felt like the author dragging this book out unnecessarily. The controversy over the issue with Erica, Daniel and Blake could have been cleared up in two chapters max. Did it go on for most of the second half of the book? Really! I can honestly say that I don't care what happens with those stupid characters. Ms. Wild, sometimes less is best. I'm done with this series!
