She longs to find a rich man who will sweep her away - into a world filled with glamour and adventure, and the exotic life that is her destiny. A wealthy businessman with Irish blood, Trevor Magee has come to Ardmore to build a theater - and uncover secrets hidden in his family's past. He thought he had given up on love long ago, but Darcy Gallagher tempts him like no woman ever has. Critic reviews

"Roberts is triumphant in realizing fully developed characters, as both Trevor and Darcy turn out to be vulnerable human beings with appealingly ordinary hopes and dreams." ( Publishers Weekly)

wont stop me from trying again

As romances go, it had all the requirements, with a little fairy magic thrown in, however, the reader was American and tried to do and Irish accent, being Irish, it made me cringe, it was as bad as Dick Van Dikes cockney in Mary Poppins. Heart of the Sea

Would you consider the audio edition of Heart of the Sea to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version but I would assume so.. listening to a story about the Irish with someone reading it with the Irish accent adds to the story.

Any additional comments?

I was sad when the series was over, I loved listening to Irish having Irish background my self. Feeling like old friends who are now gone .

What A Heart This Has!!

If this book doesn’t tug at your heart strings, make you laugh, and make you grimace, you need to ask yourself if you have a heart. And if it doesn’t make you cry at least once or twice, you can be sure you’ve not not a drop of Irish blood in you. For best results read the entire trilogy. It’s a beauty.
